I seem to have somehow set the admin password to something that I don't know. I deleted the config/config.php file and then got back to the initial setup page, but after putting in a name and password, I am presented with the same setup page again. I'm assuming the password is stored somewhere in sqlite, but I'm a bit of a newbie and am unsure where to look and what to modify.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If I try to view my message from the main list I get a different link (http://apps.owncloud.com/content/show.php?content=3#c431096) and it says Content not found. Yet is lists and shows that it's there, simply it can't be read, displayed, answered!?

To make things even nicer in my profile this message does not show as existing in the news feed and it refuses to show that I have more than one message posted.

I dare say my original message screws the forum up because of the / in the title but come on...this should be handled correctly, it can display the name in the listings, why shit the bed when you pull the full post!? Past that this site "feels" rickety at best. Like a old car that's been slapped together with bondo and duct tape...hell I'll probably just delete ownCloud and write my own code over the next few weeks.

A bit of patience and understanding goes a long way....

It may be that the presence of a slash "/" in your original message title may be giving this system problems.

You should be proud that you are helping the developers of this board by exposing a bug...

Now, if we can figure out how to report said bug...

Second is the audio player does not seem to work on her phone. I think it's an HTC incredible but under Firefox the audio player just sits there and does nothing. Can anyone confirm this and maybe give me some info if it's on the radar and being addressed?

Music player doesn't work on my Android phone either. I would think it would be better to use a WebDAV client to transfer the music to an on-board mp3 player...

I had to move my user data folders around, and when I did owncloud made a new data folder for itself. I replaced it with my old one, but the web interface is still showing the blank folder owncloud made. WebDav and the mobile clients show the right files, but the web client seems to be coming from a cache? How can I force it to update?

How come ownCloud lists apps and offers the option to "enable" when they aren't there? If it knows about the app, can't it go get it from apps.owncloud for me?

Please make app browsing/install available withing ownCloud itself.

login as admin, click on settings, there is Users.
On the top of the page is a username and password field. Put the infos of the new user in there and you are done..

How did you tryed to upload the files?

Normally you create a FTP User within ISPconfig and connect with this User and an FTP client to your webspace.

I've planned to use Owncloud as a shared files platform not as a backup space, I haven't seen a feature like deleting files older than X days, what would be the command line to do so (not only rm "olderfiles") and keeping db up to date ?

Is there any way to create a new user in Owncloud that would have only rights of uploading files and no possibility to see/delete/modify/share any other file in his account ?
like a guest account that I may give to people that would upload a file not so often.

I was trying to get owncloud with ldap query (dc is a win 2008 r2) to work. It works without problems, even group querys.
But only if the user is allowed to connect to all computers > attribute userWorkstations is empty. What do i have to do, to make this work, since all our user accounts are restricted to one computer and i don't wanna change this :)
I tried machine name of the host etc...nothing worked.
